It was claimed that the pharmaceutical company, GlaxoSmithKline, announced a recall of all Ventolin inhalers in February 2018. Many Facebook users shared an article containing this information. This report is fake.

TodayViral .News reported on an old recall that was announced by GlaxoSmithKline in April of 2017, the company announced that they were recalling almost 600,000 Ventolin HFA inhalers because of a propellant leakage that cause the inhaler to produce out a lower dosage of the medication.

According to Snopes, "a check of the web sites of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and GlaxoSmithKline shows there was no new Ventolin inhaler recall in February 2018".
