Does Melania Trump Have a Body Double?
In October of 2017, a Facebook user named Andrea Wagner Barton made a theory that Melania Trump hired a body double to attend a press conference. She took a picture of her TV as her 'evidence', and stated "Why would the moron say 'my wife, who happens to be standing right here...'" The theory started off as a gag , then turned into a viral conspiracy with 9 million shares on Facebook, and the number one trending topic on twitter at the time. People on social media were coming up with observations stating that the noses weren't the same, the lips were different, and if it really was Melania , Trump wouldn't have stated the obvious during his TV interview. Later, many news images came out with Melania not wearing her sunglasses, showing that it was in fact her, and not an imposter.
