In last year's interview, John Mark Karr claimed to know the killer in the famous JonBenet Ramsey case. He gave specific details about how she passed away such as "
the kidnap letter which was found was fake" and other details that were already known. These details were not helpful in solving the murder case and was fake news and a distraction to the FBI. Some may have thought he was responsible for the death because of his knowledge about the case but "Karr was cleared of her death because his tissue samples and body fluids did not match that found on Ramsey's body."
