On February 4, 2018, the 52nd Super Bowl aired with millions of viewers watching the Eagles vs. Patriots play football. However, fake news came out during the pre-game stirring up a disagreement about anti-police brutality protests of some NFL players. A month before the Super Bowl aired, a meme found its way to Facebook and said that
"the national anthem would not be televised before this year's Super Bowl." This turned out to be false information because the NFL issued a press release announcing that Pink was performing this year's national anthem and if any player decides to protest they'll likely be shown on T.V.
