There is a never ending list of reasons that people have for doing something that will cause harm or distress to another person. Rumors can spread across the world with social media, especially when someone has millions of followers. People are more outspoken online when they can be a faceless anonymous and not have to worry about the consequences of their statements. The interest that story's create will draw a crow, and creating fake news can now create a profit. People can create a website and post fake story's, while having advertisements on the website, and make a revenue by views and shares. This video shows how companies like Google and Facebook are working towards ways of preventing these lies from spreading and sharing by being flagged.
