Is Santa to Blame for Childhood Obesity?

After a study was done by Dr. Nathan Grills, at Monash University in Australia, making points and “proving” that Santa was the reason for childhood obesity the story quickly became a top headline over night. His proof being that “Santa's image as a bowl full of drunken, cookie-fueled diabetes actually encourages impressionable kids to lead similarly unhealthy lifestyles as they get older,”(cracked.com) and many other parents and people quickly jumped to defend him. However Dr Nathan Grills didn’t mean for this study to be taken seriously by any means, it was supposed to be a “Christmas joke,”(cracked.com) that got taken way out of hand.
