Fake News about the Florida School Shooter

Fake news is an everyday issue. We have people spreading false news every time we get on social media or even Google a current event. A couple of days ago, there was a massive school shooting in Parkland, Florida. People began to spread rumors, fake news, on social media and there were even a couple of news articles saying the school shooter was a member/the leader of awhite nationalist group. An article about the issue says, “In their eagerness to pin the horrific massacre on far-right “white supremacists” (which could then be extrapolated out to demonize all conservatives for the shooting), the media ran with the story despite having no independent confirmation whatsoever.” People just tellnews sources and news sources make up random stuff because that what the audience wants to hear, instead of spreading the truth.
