Tide to discontinue PODs due to consumers eating them

I'm sure many of us have heard of The Tide Challenge, it has become a social media phenomenon.  These past recent months, kids would ingest Tide PODs on camera and the would post them on their social media. A fake viral tweet went out claiming that Tide would be discontinuing their PODs products. According to Snopes, "Some viewers who encountered this tweet wondered whether Tide had in fact announced an end to laundry pods due to the prevalence of the Tide Challenge" Tide made no such announcement, and the tweet displayed above has been fabricated. Tide took the extra step posting a video and a tweet to advise consumers no to eat Tide PODs.
