Tide Pods = Zombies?

"Who knew laundry detergent would lead to the Walking Dead?" (Link). Fortunately, AMC is doing their part to share the word in order to stop people from eating tide pods. Now there have been other crazy challenges - like planking, the cinnamon challenge, and the gallon challenge - that seem to cause chaos, but the tide pod challenge seems to be the cause of the zombie apocalypse. @WalkingDead_AMC tweeted on January 25th, "We're not saying that eating Tide Pods started the walker apocalypse. We're not saying it didn't, either. But please guys: stop eating soap." (Link) Of course, this isn't the case, AMC just wanted to bring awareness to the idiocy of eating laundry detergent...or is that really their plan?
