Why fake news on social media travels faster than the truth

Paul Chadwick states how fake news is more of a novel than actual news and could be why it travels faster. “Humans are more likely than automated processes to be responsible for the spread of fake news” states Paul. The internet isn’t spreading the fake news we are. Fake news imposes serious concerns to the US. Today society is making assumptions and lies and spreading them. Fake news is traveling super fast because people love the element of surprise. Fake news doesn’t have the same excitement.
