Google and Facebook have finally announced that they are going to limit the sites that contain fake news. Not everything you see online is fake news, but Eugene Kiely and Lori Robertson claim that "Snopes.com has been exposing false viral claims since the mid 1990s, whether that’s fabricated messages, distortions containing bits of truth and everything in between." The steps to find spot fake news is the consider the source, read beyond the headline, check the author, check the date, check the biases, and consult the experts. Theres more fake news out there than real news, so be careful what you read.

“Fake News” in the Media
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.com/news/amp/world-us-canada-43641675
A few days ago , on April 3, there was a mass shooting at YouTube headquarters, that left 4 people dead at the scene. During the shooting, of course there were devastated family members and friends, but there was also a hacker. A hacker that decides to hack a YouTube employee, Vadim Lavrusik, account during the shooting. Vadim posted a tweet on Twitter to keep his followers up-to-date on what was going on at the time, so I’m guessing that the person who hacked his page thought that it would be funny. The hacker posted misinformation, stating that Vadim lost a friend in the building and also immature slurs about Vadim’s name.
On social media, people were also going around saying that Sam Hyde was the YouTube mass shooter, which was incorrect, and considered fake news. They have identified the shooter as a female, Nasim Aghdam, which was an employee, shot herself dead, after injuring 3 innocent victims. According to BBC News, “It is not the first time that social media platforms struggled with misinformation and fake images during breaking news events”.

True fabrication with the news
NBC nightly news former news anchor Mr. Brian William is a prime examples of fake news, fake life, fake everything. He made his story sound believable.. ∵∵∵∵∵.😁 This dude blamed so many people of being apart of fake news, tweeting fake tweets but failed to realize his job was based on lies. Guess telling lies didn't stop from getting hired with another station. "Mr. Williams has been drawing 9.3 million viewers a night, and his position seemed unassailable. Even as the stature of the nightly newscast faded in the face of real-time digital news, Mr. Williams was one of the most trusted names in America and commanded the respect accorded predecessors like Walter Cronkite, Tom Brokaw and Peter Jennings." Ha.. the most trusted person, guess most of America loves fake news.

Crisis Actors
I came across this video on facebook on this lady stating that the government pays people to be crisis actors and how they were planning events to happen in two city similar to the bombing in Austin. At first I'm thinking this isn't true this lady losing it. Then when the actually bombings happened close to the dates I started looking more deep into this.
The internet went crazy after witness David Hogg seems to appear in more than one article. Alex Jones, the controversial conspiracy theorist and Infowars host, suggested on his radio show that the Parkland shooting was a “false flag,” or staged, operation. Jones has pushed similar views about the 2012 Sandy Hook massacre, including the idea that the people shown in news reports from the scene were actors". Sometimes I know for sure a light bulbs pops up in my head… what if they are really playing mind games. If I don't see it for myself then I'll never know what's going on.

Twitter rage over #fakenews
Twitter follow @RoflGandhi tweeted “All the top
ministers, MPs, MLAs, paid-unpaid karykartas copy pasted the same message. This
is possible on PMO's orders only, no single ministry could mobilize that much.
PM just tried to pull off a well-planned stunt on #FakeNews.” It’s funny how people take something and run
with it, especially from social media. A link attached shows everyone copying
and pasting the tweet. It’s different when you retweet a tweet but be for real
making it seem like you were the original of the tweet. I definitely don’t get
on twitter for one it’s confusing and two I would rather not see tweet every
second.
"Faaaaaake Newwwws... Faaaaaake Newwwws... Faaaaaake Newwwws..."
What drew my attention to this was Chris Brown's
post on Instagram. This was very questionable. Stated in this article,
"The anchors were forced to read the so-called journalistic responsibility
messages word for word by their employer, the conservative-leaning Sinclair
Broadcast Group, the largest owner of television stations in the country."
If several of new stations/medias are repeating the same thing you would think its
fact checking but if anchors are just doing their "jobs" and forced
to read word from word by their employer than who knows could be false/fake
news. To me people will do anything to get a story, views, etc.

The Fake News Networks
The Fake News Networks
According to Trump’s tweet “The “Fakers” at CNN, NBC, ABC
& CBS have done so much dishonest reporting that they should only be
allowed to get awards for fiction!” This guy is so real to the point he’s
hilarious. His mouth does not have a filter whatsoever. And the sad part about
it is this is just who he is. He’s so unprofessional but very real. Attacking the
media sure won’t fix the problems we are facing but will definitely give Trump
some attention. I’m a woman and I don’t tweet as much as he does. You would think
he has a menstrual.
