Did a Candy Company Put Out an Edible Pod After the 'Tide Pod Challenge' Controversy?
After the emergence of the "tide pod challenge" many people were warned about the dangers that the challenge could bring, such as death. With the severity of the problem, a new controversy appeared when two images were posted showing edible candy "pods". This sparked the question to whether or not the candy was aimed towards the tide pod challenge or if it was just merely a coincidence. But when reaching out to the actual "mars bar" company they reassured that their candy pods had been established back in 2005 which is over a decade before the challenge even started, and are currently being sold in Australia.
