On February 7th 2018, there was a video recorded in Italy of several individuals destroying a car. The person who published the film claimed that it was a group of Muslims that was hitting the car in order "to demonstrate the criminality of Muslim migrants". However the video exposed itself as a camera crew is shown just to the left of the violent scene. Instead of being aggressive protest, it turns out that this was being filmed as a part of "the 2015 Italian drama 'Mediterranea'".
