An article published by ReaganWasRight.com stated that 10 Democratic Congressman had “demanded” that MLK’s face be added to Mount Rushmore to “make sure the entire nation sees his face.” Democrats felt that MLK had done “more for our country than most presidents” and “should be honored for that.” The claim that Muslim Keith Ellison demanded or even suggested that MLK be added is completely untrue. The addition of any face to Mount Rushmore, a historical site, is false. Democrats have no intention of “demanding” that any change to this national monument take place. It is strange that this would even be believable seeing as all the others on Mount Rushmore are former Presidents.
