In January 2018, a website by the name ReaganWasRight.com falsely claimed that Ivanka Trump was "shot and critically wounded in Washington, D.C." The story turned out to be completely false as the website ReaganWasRight.com fabricated it to gain attention. They invented a doctor named Harvey Basheer and they claimed that Ivanka Trump got injured by a sniper, a person who shoots from hiding places from long distances. The story is said to satirize (mock) and on the website it’s even said that it states “whimsical playland of conservative satire” in a disclaimer on the web site.
