Getting HIV at a Gas Station

Getting HIV at a Gas Station

November 17th 2017

There has a been a false reported claim stating that gas station costumers are getting struck by HIV needles on gas pumps. The hoax went viral on the internet after a statement was released reposting a fake email from an individual named "Captain Abraham Sands" sending warnings to citizens of Jacksonville, telling them to look out of themselves when pumping gas into their cars. However on the City of Jacksonville Police department website,  there are no articles containing warnings for the hoax, and officer "sands" is not an officer at their department. "We Live in a world where crazy things happen and people want some assurance" says spokesman Harry Regan, from Jacksonville PD.
