Is this Armed Teacher Protecting Students in an Israeli School?

On a publisher website, an article gives the explanation of a woman in possession of a riffle next to young children at an Israeli school. According to this source, while the photograph doesn't illustrate "a traditional classroom", it is actually uncommon for a teacher not to be armed. This is deemed to be acceptable in this area due to the fact that those who even seem to be a "minor threat" are not granted permission to be armed. However, the article doesn't go into detail about how teachers are examined before receiving a weapon. Another part of the article that proved it not to be convincing was the fact that it was vaguely stated that "the pictured woman is most likely a security guard".
