Pluto a Planet Again?

In late January a continuing debate resurfaced on Twitter and Facebook from a website Called the Untold Universe stating that the previously know planet Pluto, had been reclassified back to its former glory as a Planet again! “The International Astronomical Union (IAU), the body that is responsible for naming and classifying objects in the cosmos, has just announced that Pluto has been reclassified as a major planet.” Pluto and planetary lovers everywhere rejoiced at this news. Excited to see the plant we all once knew and love would be joining it former family. but sadly this was debunked by Snopes, who found it was really just a resurfacing of a April Fool’s Joke from 2017. [ 1 link, 1 quote, 1 picture, 115 words]
