Kyle Kahuv, a pro-gun rights student and survivor of the Douglass High School shooting, was recently invited to appear on Brooke Baldwin’s afternoon show to discuss gun violence. However, the network canceled his confirmed interview just before his appearance, due to an alleged retweet that Kahuv had taken part in. Apparently, he had retweeted a story about Brooke Baldwin that classified him as “a fake new hypocrite.” When in fact, Kashuv had tweeted how excited he was to make an appearance and advocate for something he felt so strongly about. Without even seeing if this retweet was true, “the network immediately pulled the plug.”
