It is said that the founder of Bitcoin has been revealed. The founders name is Satoshi Nakamoto. According to BBC and the Economist, the Australian Craig Steven Wright claims that he is the real Mr. Nakamoto and founder of Bitcoin. The article above claims that Kim Jong-Un is the real Mr. Nakamoto and that he created the currency “with the help of his good friend Dennis Rodman”. Really? That isn’t even believable Fake News. The article states that bitcoin was created so that Kim could fund his North Korea’s Nuclear program. Now. I am no expert, but this is definitely something not believable.

DUE TO GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN W-2 FORMS AND TAX RETURNS WON’T BE FILED THIS YEAR

How many of you have heard that the government shutdown means that there will be no tax returns this year? That will definitely fall under the catergory of Fake News. Accoring to Forbes, the government shutdown might slow down the process of tax returns but the IRS has officially confirmed that they will be issuing refunds this year. “The IRS will maintain some functions and those that are outlined on their contingency plan.” So no need to fear, although it might take a bit longer for the process to come through, it will happen and everyone will be getting there returns back. It must be nice for people that have to pay taxes to the IRS because that probably means that having to pay will take a little longer too.

Organic Robotoids – artificial intelligence designed to look human –  are not only real but have infiltrated U.S. politics and Hollywood. 

There is a story going around that "Robotoids" are real and have infiltrated the U.S. That is definitely going to be Fake News. According to YourNewsWire.com they were discovered "accidentally" by the Russians and were used to help the Russians with the election that led to Trump winning the presidency. I highly doubt that Robot advancements have really gone this far. They state that all the information on the robotoids came from a Dr. Peter, but yet fail to even mention his last name. They go one to talk about how Nicki Minaj and Eminiem were cloned and it was visible in their performances. Really though?

YourNewsWire.com recently came out with this article stating that the Earth's poles are about to flip causing worldwide blackouts. These are the kind of articles that seem like they can be legit and could even scare people that are not well informed. Perfect example of Fake News. Nasa has confirmed that there will not be any black outs due to the North and South magnetic poles about to flip. They claim "scientists have yet to establish a cause and effect relationship between pole reversals and mass extinctions but that doesn't mean that there wont be one. We might not know when the poles will finally complete their long over due switch, but we at least have the advantage of being able to prepare."

In the beginning of January 2017,  a rumor spread across Facebook, stating that Facebook users were being paid to follow certain Facebook accounts to watch their posts. Instructions were shared to go onto to your account to be able to block these accounts. However, according to Snopes, following these instructions apparently doesn't help you block these users. "Entering the term 'Facebook Security' into 'Block Users' search box simply returns 'profiles of [users] who have used those particular words somewhere on their profile [or] in a place that’s visible to the individual, as in a public post." Tide to discontinue PODs due to consumers eating them

I'm sure many of us have heard of The Tide Challenge, it has become a social media phenomenon.  These past recent months, kids would ingest Tide PODs on camera and the would post them on their social media. A fake viral tweet went out claiming that Tide would be discontinuing their PODs products. According to Snopes, "Some viewers who encountered this tweet wondered whether Tide had in fact announced an end to laundry pods due to the prevalence of the Tide Challenge" Tide made no such announcement, and the tweet displayed above has been fabricated. Tide took the extra step posting a video and a tweet to advise consumers no to eat Tide PODs.
