Yet another fake news headline has been circulating recently. Health Nut News is now claiming that the flu shot caused this year's flu epidemic. Writer Erin Elizabeth used ABC as her source but they were not mentioned in the article at all. All her information came from a Wiscon nurse and according to snopes.com, “this interpretation, however, represents a full-scale misunderstanding.” What the nurse said was mistaken by Elizabeth and turned into a news article. This has been proven false by Snopes because of the way the flu shot is engineered it can’t be the perpetrator of this epidemic. (1 quote, 1 link, 1 image, 100 words)
